Commercial Manager – Recladding projects – London

We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary consultancy with a global record of successful delivery on a range of projects including, but not limited to, Data Centres, Recladding, Medical Projects, Nursing homes, Clinics and many more. 

Due to continuous growth, they are now seeking a well experienced Commercial Manager to oversee recladding projects in London.

Responsibilities

•    Cost Management & Budget Control
Oversee the preparation and continuous monitoring of project budgets, ensuring effective cost control, accurate forecasting, and timely reporting to senior stakeholders.
•    Contractual Oversight
Manage all aspects of contractual obligations, including JCT and NEC contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial terms throughout the project lifecycle.
•    Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination
Lead the procurement strategy for subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating best value while maintaining quality and delivery timelines critical to cladding works.
•    Valuations & Payment Applications
Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring timely and accurate payments in line with contract terms.
•    Risk & Compliance Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks, with a particular focus on fire safety and regulatory compliance in line with post-Grenfell recladding legislation.

Requirements

Previous cladding/recladding experience is preferred
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
Must have UK Passport or RTW

Benefits

£125,000-£130,000 DOE + WFH potential
